Joy Behar made a candid confession on The View when she and her co-hosts were discussing the importance of compatibility in relationships.
Behar has been married twice – once in 1996 to Joseph Behar, and then again in 2011 to Steve Janowitz, to whom she is still married. The comedian had nothing but good things to say about both of her husbands on Friday’s (July 25) broadcast of The View.
“My husband, both of them, quality human beings,” she said, before adding, “And the sex was great.”
After sharing a laugh over Behar’s confession, Sara Haines pointed out that “chemistry” is part of finding “the longevity of a relationship.”
“It’s the values. Are we looking in the same direction? Do we want the same things?” she said. “And I think sometimes when you’re new to it you don’t realize sometimes.”
But Sunny Hostin pointed out, “Because the sex is so good you got clouds! Fog!”
Behar fired back, “Yeah, but the hot sex doesn’t go on indefinitely.”

“Says who?” Hostin asked with a wry smile.
Behar then shared some advice a therapist once gave her about relationships.
“Says me,” she responded. “I had a shrink who said to me one time just be with somebody who’s easy to be with, who’s pleasant to be with, and I thought that was good advice.”
The ladies all agreed. But Ana Navarro pointed out “it would also be really nice If they closed the damn cupboard” or put the toilet seat back down.
“Do you know how many times I’ve fallen into that toilet in the middle of the night?” Behar asked.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
