Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have been the talk of the town all weekend, but some of The View ladies apparently did not feel the need to weigh in on the relationship rumors.
During an appearance on the Behind the Table podcast, The View panelist Sara Haines and executive producer Brian Teta spoke about the “disagreement” their colleagues had earlier that day over whether they should discuss Swift and Kelce’s alleged relationship after the popstar was spotted at his game this past Sunday.
“I can usually find something, but I’ll let you know when I don’t care. This is a PR stunt, this whole thing, and I’m just not that interested in it,” Haines told Teta on the podcast. “It feels like you’re giving air to a publicity stunt.”
Haines continued, “She does not need more expensive concert tickets that are hard to get. Like, she’s good. We’re good.”
Teta said he still felt she has “an opinion that would’ve been interesting to hear on television” if the panelists had chosen to discuss it.
“The Swifties are as bad as the Beyhive,” she replied, referring to Swift and Béyonce’s respective fanbases. “They come for you if you even allude to them. I don’t like to put negative energy out there, I don’t care who she dates, but it’s not because I’m a bad person.”

Haines revealed that Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro were also not interested in discussing Kelce and Swift on the ABC talk show. Alyssa Farah Griffin, however, did reportedly want to discuss it.
“I felt there’s a public interest,” Teta said. “You have an opinion, it might not be an opinion that people agree with, it might not be the most positive opinion in the world, but that’s okay, you do you.” He said he decided not to include the topic because “several” felt similarly to Haines.
Instead, Tuesday’s (Sept. 26) episode of The View saw the hosts grilling former White House staffer Cassidy Hutchinson about why she worked for Donald Trump.
At one point in the interview, while discussing why “so many men” have refused to testify against the former president, Goldberg made a NSFW comment under her breath.
She muttered, “No balls,” under her breath, causing her to get censored by the producers for several seconds.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
