Jesse Lally

The Valley‘s sophomore season will go down in Bravo history as some of the darkest episodes to come out of the network. Between Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s toxic split, Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei‘s ongoing divorce, and anything that had to do with Janet Caperna, there was never a dull moment. But despite the drama, Saniei is putting her best foot forward as she tries to bring everyone together for one last hurrah in tonight’s Season 2 finale.

In an exclusive clip obtained by Decider, Saniei invites all of her friends to her upcoming “Zen Party” — even Lally, who spent this season accusing her of cheating on him with her new boyfriend Aaron Nosler, and sleeping with billionaires for money (a false rumor he later apologized for repeating in the boys’ group chat).

“I feel drained from the last year of my life and I just need a zen party and zen energy from everybody,” she says in her confessional. “I just wanted to everybody to be happy for once.”

It should be interesting to see how Lally and Saniei handle each other moving forward, not just as co-parents but as castmates. Fans watched as their marriage crumbled in Season 1, ultimately leading them to file for divorce shortly before the show premiered on Bravo last year. And in Season 2, their disdain and resentment for each other could be felt through the screen. At one point, Saniei even accused Lally of being a worse ex-husband than Taylor, whose anger issues and cocaine addiction tore apart his marriage with Cartwright.

The difference between the two ex-couples, however, is that Lally and Saniei can still find a way to laugh with one another, despite how angry they’ve been with each other.

After Saniei invites him to her party in the clip, he asks, “What’s the attire? Should I wear my Ayahuasca beanie?” referring to the hat he wore in Season 1 while telling Saniei about his experience at the spiritual retreat.

“No,” Saniei says with a giggle.

Perhaps good things are ahead for these two!

The Valley airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
