With Love, Meghan re-launches Meghan Markle’s lifestyle career, with the Duchess of Sussex showing her viewers how to frost a cake, make a colorful fruit salad and craft charming preserves in her kitchen. The show is intended to be charming escapism, but not everyone saw it that way.

In her review, Decider’s Meghan O’Keefe wrote, “With Love, Meghan won’t make you feel like you’re watching the arrival of the millennial Ina Garten, but rather the second coming of Marie Antoinette.”

Medusa takes place in the aftermath of an assassination attempt on CEO Bárbara Hidalgo. The Colombian thriller isn’t just a crime saga, though — there’s plenty of romance there, too, with Hidalgo wrapped up in a love triangle between her husband and a detective.

Decider’s Joel Keller writes, “Steamy, sexy thriller series are almost always campy in some respect or another. But a new Netflix thriller from Colombia is so over-the-top that it may make the most reverent fan of the genre roll their eyes.”

Love Is Blind is our favorite train wreck of a dating show, and this season, the series filmed the loves and losses of a group of Minneapolis singles. The show introduced plenty of new faces, including a Taco Bell-loving nurse, a youth basketball coach, a cinematographer and more.

Now, the children have moved on to a hot new show: Ms. Rachel. The titular teacher has taken her talents from YouTube to Netflix, where she teachers young viewers everything about reading and speech.

Tyler Perry crafted another hit with Beauty in Black, his latest Netflix sensation. The prolific writer’s show introduces two women from different worlds — one makes her living as a stripper, while the other is a successful businesswoman — whose lives become intertwined. Of course, drama ensues.

Decider’s Joel Keller writes, “Look, we get it; this is Perry’s idea of what this world is about. But we wonder if Perry was the right guy to write this kind of story. If the story were written by women, or perhaps not a media mogul who became a billionaire via Madea films and silly family sitcoms, there might be more subtlety to the story.”

The tragic death of Gabby Petito is front and center in Netflix’s American Murder: Gabby Petito. Petito, who was murdered by her fiancé Brian Laundrie while the two were traveling together, dominated headlines shortly after her death in 2021. Netflix’s show aims to add more context to her killing.
