Drea de Matteo, known for her role in The Sopranos, recently disclosed that she cast her vote for Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.

In an Instagram Story featuring her boyfriend, Michael Devin, the Emmy-winning actress declared, “Guess who we voted for? We voted for ourselves. We the people. You and me with the justice league ready to drain the f***ing neocon/corporate swamp.”

De Matteo, who portrayed Adriana La Cerva on HBO’s acclaimed series, expressed her support for Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, referring to Trump affectionately as “big daddy.”

In another post, she sported a T-shirt emblazoned with “TRUMP 2024” and “F*** YOUR FEELINGS,” encouraging her followers to “research your reality” and adjust their political views as if their “life depended on it.”

On July 4, she identified herself as a “life-long progressive liberal,” asserting that she would be “damned if the hijacked blue or red party” installed another “puppet in the blue seat to fulfill the deep state agenda.”

De Matteo criticized wealthy celebrities for urging voters to focus on social issues like abortion rights, stating, “These are not the priorities.” She pointed out contradictions in voting for women’s rights while women’s sports face challenges, saying, “You vote for my body, my choice, as long as it aligns with your narrative.”

She emphasized the need for true democracy, suggesting that decision-making should be returned to the states to involve the public more directly.

As a woman, mother, and both pro-choice and pro-life advocate, she shared her personal experience, saying, “I’ve terminated pregnancies and have two beautiful children. I challenge all women this year to look beyond just abortion rights.”

Last September, the actress revealed her decision to join OnlyFans to share images and videos, citing that her views on the COVID-19 vaccine had impacted her career opportunities.
