Grab your sodas and your garments, because The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is coming back for Season 2!
Sources connected to the Hulu reality series told TMZ that the cast will begin filming within the next week — and that pre-production has already begun. Season 1 stars Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neely, Mikayla Matthews, and Whitney Leavitt are all reportedly set to return.
DECIDER has reached out to Hulu for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
The eight-episode series, which became Hulu’s top unscripted premiere of the year, follows the young Mormon influencers behind #MomTok. The show picks up amid the aftermath of Paul’s swinging scandal, which threatened to uproot the group’s reputation.
But the drama quickly becomes more than Paul, who ends up getting arrested, pregnant, and giving birth all within the first season. Instead, the focus shifts to Leavitt, who makes the shocking decision to leave #MomTok amid her disagreements with the other women.
When DECIDER spoke to Leavitt ahead of the show’s premiere, she wasn’t able to answer whether she’d come back to #MomTok. “It’s not like I can’t not be in a room with everyone, like, I can do that. But as far as, like, the future of it, I really want to watch the first season before making that decision,” she said.

In a separate interview with DECIDER, Neely teased that there will also be more drama between Affleck and her husband — who announced at the end of Season 1 that they would be moving to New York so he could go to medical school.
“So they ended up going to Arizona, actually. I think they pivoted last minute and went to Arizona,” Neely told us. “There’s stuff going on behind the scenes … We can’t really say anything else. It’s gonna have to wait for Season 2, for sure.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu.
