We are still reeling from that Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10 trailer. While it might be the franchise’s first season without Karen Huger—who is currently serving out the remainder of her prison sentence—there was still plenty of drama to go around.
Season 9 fan-favorite Stacey Rusch is back—and still she rises. Following her breakup from TJ Jones, it looks like Stacey is finding solace in her estranged husband Thiemo Rusch as she tells him, “I’m committed to you and I’m committed to our family.” Are they rekindling their romance? Watching their interaction, I sure thought so—that is, until Ashley Darby accuses Stacey of “trying to get with” Chris Samuels—the ex-husband to former cast member Monique Samuels, who left the show following a physical altercation with Candiace Dillard Bassett in Season 5.
Monique’s return to RHOP after five years prompts Wendy Osefo to joke, “Last time I saw you, you had a binder,” referring to the infamous receipts she brought to her last reunion. Monique also seems to shut down the possibility of Stacey going after her ex-husband as she says, “Yeah, my ex-husband, we not doing that.”
Monique isn’t the only familiar face we’ll see on Season 10. After all, with the Grand Dame stuck in jail and unable to film, they had to pull out all the stops. Mauricio Umansky, the estranged husband to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills icon Kyle Richards, will make a playful cameo on what appears to be one of their cast trips. “Hey Gizelle,” he tells Gizelle Bryant as he leans in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
