Yes, Aaron Glenn and all the Jets players will say there is no such thing as moral victories, but you could feel it after close losses to the Steelers and Buccaneers, that they were encouraged by things that happened in those games.

But now we’re past that stage of the season. Now, the Jets need some real victories.

The reality of the first three games was that the Jets were playing teams above their weight class. The Steelers, Bills and Buccaneers all went to the playoffs last year. They all have coaches who are well established and have won multiple division titles. The Bills are one of the three best teams in the sport. The Buccaneers are not far behind. Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield are both playing at a very high level.
