Just one month after hitting theaters, “The Naked Gun” is now available to stream from the comfort of your own home.

The fourth film in “The Naked Gun” series is a legacy sequel to 1994’s “The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult” that stars Liam Neeson as Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Leslie Nielsen’s Frank Drebin. A detective like his father before him, Drebin Jr. is forced to save the legendary Police Squad from shutting down by solving a dangerous and high-profile case in a way only he can.

Pamela Anderson co-stars with Neeson, and the film also features Paul Walter Hauser as Capt. Ed Hocken Jr., the son of George Kennedy’s Ed Hocken, and Danny Huston.

In his 4-star review of “The Naked Gun,” The Post’s entertainment critic Johnny Oleksinski called the film “the biggest surprise of the year” and noted that “someway, somehow, it’s the funniest movie to hit theaters in a long time.”

“We’re talking gasping-for-air, “Get my inhaler!” hilarious. In the spirit of the 1988 classic, director Akiva Schaffer’s movie carpet-bombs us with nonstop jokes — from stupid to clever to utterly deranged. They never, ever let up,” he continued.

“The Naked Gun” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! “The Naked Gun” was released on digital Sept. 2.

“The Naked Gun” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “The Naked Gun,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “The Naked Gun” whenever you want to.

Video-on-demand rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on a rented title.

While you can stream “The Naked Gun” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, where there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access. Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

The 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of “The Naked Gun” will be released on Nov. 11, but you can preorder now on Amazon to receive your copy on release day.

You can stream the first three movies in “The Naked Gun” series with a subscription to Paramount+.

Paramount+ offers a seven-day free trial before $7.99/month payments begin.
