It’s back to square one for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team, which had its sights set on a third consecutive Super Bowl win, lost to the Philadelphia Eagles this past February, 40-22.

“They played great from start to finish,” quarterback Patrick Mahomes said in a postgame interview. “…I’ll have to learn from that and be better the next opportunity I get.”

Mahomes and Co.’s next opportunity begins this September when they open the season against the Chargers in Brazil on Sept. 5.

After that, the squad will have to prove themselves against heavy hitters such as the Baltimore Ravens (Sept. 28), Detroit Lions (Oct. 12), Washington Commanders (Oct. 27), Houston Texans (Dec. 7) and Denver Broncos in a Dec. 25 Christmas game at their home GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Plus, you won’t want to miss their home opener Super Bowl rematch against the Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 14.

If you want to be there to root on the Chiefs, you can grab tickets on Vivid Seats for all nine home games as of today.
