Is it a flex that multiple members of your family are seeking love through reality dating shows? We’ll let the Glazes slide since these two seem to be sweet guys.

Last week, Marshall Glaze from Love Is Blind revealed that he is related to Justin Glaze, who was a contestant on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise

Justin was the runner-up for the 17th season of The Bachelorette, featuring Katie Thurston. He returned for the eighth season of Bachelor in Paradise and was eliminated in weeks two and four.

The Netflix reality star confirmed their connection in a TikTok video where he called Justin on FaceTime.

“Well, if it isn’t America’s favorite hopeless romantic,” Justin said as he picked up the call.

“We’re cousins,” Marshall confirmed while holding the phone up to his face. “Yeah, we’re cousins.”

Justin joked, “This guy!” when he laid eyes on Marshall’s recording device.

The Love Is Blind contestant went on to ask, “Are you jealous that I got casted on the better reality show?” to which Justin replied, “Have I ever been the jealous type?”

Addressing the viewers, Justin said, “America, this man deserves everything and more than he’s receiving. This man has been writing sonnets since he’s been out of the womb. We would all be playing sports, what was he doing? Writing poetry to his future wife.”

He continued to say that Marshall “deserves” the opportunity that Netflix is giving him. But unfortunately, the Love Is Blind episodes that have already aired suggest that there’s trouble ahead for Marshall’s quest for love as his fiancé, Jackelina, has been prone to moody behavior.

In the latest drop of episodes, Jackie challenged Marshall to “boss up” after subjecting him to her hot-and-cold behavior during their honeymoon – where she had a major meltdown – and their early days of living together.

In response, Marshall temporarily moved out of their shared living quarters. Upon his return, the couple continued their argument and Marshall called her a “project,” which evoked criticism from Jackie and people online.

In the latest episode, a former contestant, Josh, appeared and tried to rekindle the flame he had with Jackie while they were in the pods – and a recent sighting suggests that Josh and Jackie may still be in contact with one another. While the final few episodes of Love Is Blind can’t be altered, surely this trio have something fresh to say during the reunion on April 16.

New episodes of Love Is Blind premiere April 7 on Netflix.
