Prepare your passports, football fans.

On Sunday, Nov. 9, Michael Penix Jr.’s Atlanta Falcons and Anthony Richardson’s Indianapolis Colts are going head-to-head in a week 10 matchup at Berlin, Germany’s Olympiastadion.

This will be the first regular-season game in the venue’s history. Prior to this NFC-AFC showdown, four exhibition contests have gone down at Olympiastadion, which was built for the 1936 Summer Olympics.

“We are definitely excited and proud to take part in the first-ever NFL regular-season game in Berlin, and look forward to seeing Atlanta Falcons fans from Germany, and across the globe, in November,” Atlanta Falcons president Greg Beadles said.

“Long before taking part in the NFL’s Global Markets Program, we saw and felt the passion for the Falcons from our dedicated German fans, including a number who have made trips to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and to our games across the U.S. and our previous international games. We look forward to experiencing the German culture and the fandom that has made Germany an important part of the NFL’s growth and future.”

As an added bonus for Berlin-based fans, the Falcons also recently signed kicker Lenny Krieg, a Berlin-native. Prior to his NFL stint, he played for the European League of Football’s Stuttgart Surge.

Last season, both Atlanta and Indianapolis finished in the middle of the pack, ending up with 8-9 records. Neither team ended up in the postseason but were close. Coincidentally, they also both concluded the year in ninth place in the NFC and AFC, respectively.

If you’d like to see the clubs duke it out in Deutschland, tickets are available for the historic Falcons-Colts contest at Olympiastadion as of today on Vivid Seats.
