Here’s the story of a lovely… Brady Bunch memory!

Eve Plumb, known for playing the middle Brady daughter Jan, announced that she is auctioning off memorabilia from her “very long career,” including one particular gift from Robert Reed, who played her on-screen father, Mike Brady.

“One Christmas, Robert Reed gave all of us Super 8 cameras because he was taking us on a trip, first to New York City and then on the QA2 to London,” she shared in a video promoting the auction. “It was so much fun to be traveling with Robert and everybody in the cast.”

The camera is listed for $200-$300.

Other items being auctioned off by Plumb include her script from A Very Brady Christmas, a signed Brady Bunch baseball hat, and needlepoint embroideries, which she revealed she made on set during production.

“In the 1970s, doing needlepoint became quite popular, and then Florence Henderson (Carol Brady) and Ann B. Davis (Alice) started doing it, so the rest of us did too,” she said, noting that “you could do it all day long and still be quiet while they were filming.”

The actress, now 65, explained how her career began after a children’s talent agent moved next door to her family in the San Fernando Valley, and convinced her mother to have her audition for commercials.

Now, after accumulating “such a large collection of so many things” over the course of her career, she says “it just seemed like the right time to take them out of storage and let other people enjoy them as well.”

Plumb mentioned thatThe Brady Bunch — which not only put her name on the map, but also solidified itself as a cultural cornerstone of the ’60s and ’70s — maintains its status as a familiar favorite all these years later thanks to its relatability.

“The great thing about The Brady Bunch is that all the characters are really relatable,” she said. “So the fact that Jan is so relatable makes me very happy. I think it’s because she was just a regular kid who made a lot of missteps, but came up in the end.”

The Brady Bunch is streaming on Prime Video and Paramount+. Watch Plumb’s auction video above.
