Before Liza Colón-Zayas‘ Emmy-winning turn as Tina on FX’s The Bear, she and Kelly Ripa briefly shared the small screen together on Hope & Faith.

The actress sat down with Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Live with Kelly and Mark on Tuesday, where they recalled early moments from her acting career, including her appearance on a 2004 episode of Ripa and Faith Ford‘s sitcom, which ran for three seasons on ABC.

“You were in an episode of Hope & Faith,” Consuelos said. “You guys worked together!”

Ripa asked, “Do you remember that? I remember that. It was a great episode, by the way.”

“It was a great episode. I was crushing on I think your sister,” Colón-Zayas said of her character Rusti. “That was part of the story.”

Ripa replied, “I was playing a lesbian woman trying to get into lesbian housing. And I needed my sister to play my ‘girlfriend,’ and so you had a crush on my girlfriend. And Jackie Hoffman was there, do you remember that?”

Ripa noted that she and Ford were “pinching [them]selves” over the opportunity to “work with such incredible, established theater women.”

“It was a joy for us to work with you both,” she told Colón-Zayas.

After Colón-Zayas thanked Ripa, she remembered Ripa shooting a”slow roll down a flight of stairs.”

“It was the slowest motion,” she continued. “She was like Tim Conway going down. It was brilliant.”

Ripa teased that she “had to fall down the stairs all the time.”

“That was my job on that show. Falling down the stairs,” she quipped.
