The Bachelor mansion has seen its fair share of emergencies over the past two decades, but The Bachelor is about to get a visit from LA’s finest (fictional) first responders in an upcoming episode of 9-1-1.
During a commercial break of The Bachelor‘s Season 28 finale on March 25, Bachelor Nation and fans of the 118 got a sneak peek at 9-1-1‘s upcoming 100th episode which shows Bobby (Peter Krause), Buck (Oliver Stark), Chimney (Kenneth Choi) and Eddie (Ryan Guzman) responding to an emergency at the Bachelor mansion with appearances from Bachelor franchise host Jesse Palmer and Joey Graziadei.
Prior to 9-1-1‘s March 14 premiere, actor Oliver Stark told People that a “crossover of sorts” with another ABC show was coming in Episode 5. When asked if the 118 was headed to the Bachelor mansion to save Jesse Palmer or tend to a rose-related emergency, 9-1-1‘s Peter Krause told Decider, “Emergencies can happen anywhere! There might be something along those lines in your future as a viewer.” Shortly afterwards, People shared an exclusive photo of the 118’s firetruck outside the Bachelor mansion — glistening driveway and all — proving Decider’s prediction was on-point.
Though The Bachelor crossover episode is highly-anticipated, longtime fans know it won’t be 9-1-1‘s first. In Season 4, the show executed a crossover with 9-1-1: Lone Star (still airing on Fox) that proved to be a soaring success, so here’s hoping The Bachelor episode delivers in the drama, romance, and the wacky emergencies departments.
Longtime members of Bachelor Nation may recall 9-1-1 star Jennifer Love Hewitt, who plays Maddie, also has ties to the franchise, which makes the crossover even more exciting.
Hewitt memorably attended The Golden Bachelor finale in 2023, and she also reportedly dated former Bachelor star Ben Flajnik back in the day! They didn’t get their happy reality TV ending, because Flajnik said, “ending up with a Hollywood celebrity is not something that I want.” But Hewitt has been married to actor Brian Hallisay (who starred alongside her on 9-1-1) since 2013, so fear not, she got her real-life happy ending.
While you wait for more info on 9-1-1‘s upcoming Bachelor crossover — which airs Thursday, April 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET — be sure to check out Decider’s Bachelor finale coverage to see what else you missed.
