This Vero Beach, Florida mansion, once on the market for a staggering $60 million, is hitting the auction block Thursday — and there’s no minimum bid, says Concierge Auctions, which is handling the sale.
The auction runs until Feb. 15.
The oceanfront estate, at 2150 South A1A, is in a gated community. It boasts a 2,000-square-foot roof transformed into a sky deck, along with a 2,000-bottle wine cellar and a movie theater — all on 6.24 acres, with 200 feet on the ocean and 200 feet on Indian River Lagoon, ideal for kayaking and fishing.
The seller is a Texas motor home dealer, Doug O’Banion, and his wife, Sharon. The couple bought the home at auction for $10.25 million in 2019 and renovated it.
The eight-bedroom home comes with 10 baths, two powder rooms, a chef’s kitchen, and media and game rooms.
Design details include high ceilings, multiple fireplaces, French doors, crown moldings and custom built-ins. Outside, there’s a pool, a hot tub, a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen and a 400-foot private dock with a lift.
The smart-wired home also features hurricane-impact windows, an elevator and a generator.
A renovated guest house and a 14-car temperature-controlled garage with two entrances are also on the property.
