One of Texas A&M’s high flyers has been grounded indefinitely.

The No. 23 Aggies suspended freshman wide receiver Micah Tease Friday following his arrest for possession of marijuana.

As a result, he missed Texas A&M’s season-opening 52-10 win Saturday over New Mexico.

Tease’s return to the field remains uncertain following his arrest by campus police after receiving a complaint late Friday night by someone who smelled weed and heard people outside talking about smoking pot, according to the Daily Mail.

Upon arrival, police also smelled marijuana.

After being denied entry to the premises, police obtained a search warrant and found three THC edibles in Tease’s room and .051 ounces of marijuana in his bathroom trash can.

Tease was booked on a pair of charges and released Friday on $13,000 bond, according to the Brazos County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office.

One of the charges — possession of 4 to 400 grams of a controlled substance (edibles) — is a second-degree felony in Texas, according to the Daily Mail.

The other charge is a misdemeanor for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

Tease is a four-star prospect from Tulsa, Oklahoma and was supposed to provide depth at receiver for Texas A&M.

Unless something changes in the next six days, Tease will miss the Aggies’ game Saturday at Miami.
