NextImg:Teresa Giudice claps back at people accusing her of ‘copying’ Melissa Gorga

Teresa Giudice shaded fans who have been accusing her of “copying” her estranged sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.

Fans began commenting that the college celebration photo Giudice posted Tuesday for her daughter Gabriella’s University of Michigan acceptance looked identical to one Gorga made for her daughter Antonia’s University of Delaware acceptance earlier this month.

The photos both show the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars’ daughters sitting on their beds surrounded by their new school’s merch, which happens to both have blue and yellow team colors.

However, one fan pointed out that Giudice was actually the first to the trend back in 2019 when she posted a photo of her daughter Gia on her bed surrounded by Rutgers merch.

“Everyone keep saying she’s copying Melissa remember Teresa did this first with Gia [Giudice] ????,” someone commented under Teresa’s post of Gabriella’s decked-out bed Tuesday.

Teresa replied to the supportive comment, “thank you sweetheart ❤️.”

Teresa, 51, previously celebrated her oldest daughter Gia’s college decision by decorating her bed in all Rutgers University-themed apparel four years ago.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star did the same thing with Gabriella, but instead, all of the shirts, snacks and balloons were in the University of Michigan’s signature colors of blue and yellow.

“Gabriella is off to the University of Michigan???????? I am so proud of you. I adore watching you work so hard for the things you want, and you deserve everything that is yet to come,” she wrote in part of the caption on Tuesday.

Some people immediately pointed out how similar the bed looked to the one Melissa, 44, made for her Antonia, for the University of Delaware earlier this month.

“Are we copying Melissa much lmao,” someone commented while another added, “Ummm this looks familiar ????.”

However, many people pointed out that the bed parties have become a trend amongst high school seniors, and they only looked similar because of the matching school colors.

Melissa has yet to respond to the comparisons.

“No one’s copying off anyone. It’s a ‘thing’ now to have these ‘bed party’s’ [sic] celebrating your college decision. Gia, Melissa and Teresa didn’t start this trend. So everyone just relax. ????????‍♀️,” one user commented.

The college bed party showdown came amid Teresa and Melissa’s ongoing feud. The sisters-in-law reached an all-time low in their relationship after Teresa allegedly told her brother, Melissa’s husband Joe Gorga, that she had cheated on him.

The rumor ultimately led to the Gorgas ditching her Aug. 6 wedding to Luis Ruelas, and the two families not speaking. They faced off for the first time in the upcoming three-part “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion which begins airing Tuesday night.
