Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein left fans blushing after he revealed why he prefers swim trunks over speedos. The actor swung by GQ Magazine to chat about his ten essentials and things got steamy.

Goldstein started off with an unpredictable list item: a pair of water googles. He stated, “You never know when you’re near a big body of water,” before going on to proclaim, “I like the water.”

This set the tone for what was about to come. The actor goes on to answer some water-related questions, sharing that he prefers the front crawl swimming technique over backstrokes, and trunks over speedos.

“I go trunks,” Goldstein told the camera. “I have found a pair, which I haven’t brought with me, that are incredibly tight.”

The heartthrob goes on to describe the specific pair as “like a speedo,” while stating that the inseam of the trunks allow him to “cover his whole package,” unlike the other style.

Goldstein goes on to list nine more essentials which include “the love of a good woman” and “the love of a bad woman” (I volunteer as tribute for both). Additional list items include his moleskine notebook, Apple MacBook, a black t-shirt, a water bottle, FIFA 23, cinema, a protein bar, Blu-rays, a piano book, and his iPhone (we love a well-rounded king).

The actor’s fun-filled GQ appearance is part of the press circuit for the third and final season of Ted Lasso, which premieres on Apple TV+ on March 15. The season will contain 12 episodes.

Apple TV+ teases, “The newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate, now hailed as the ‘wonder kid,’ has gone to work for Rupert at West Ham United.” As a result of the events from the previous season, Goldstein’s Roy Kent steps up as assistant coach to support Beard (Brendan Hunt) and Ted (Jason Sudeikis).
