Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are headed toward getting engaged, according to the Daily Mail.
The Chiefs All-Pro tight end is waiting until he hangs up his jersey for good, a source told the outlet, adding that “nothing is seems to be imminent” at this time.
“Once he done playing [football], the conversation will be front and center,” they said of Kelce, whose contract expires after the 2025 season.
“Everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her parents [Andrea and Scott Swift] for her hand in marriage. Her parents will say ‘yes,’ and they can’t wait for them to get engaged.
“Nothing seems to be imminent, but it will 100 percent happen. Taylor and Travis are treating this relationship as their last relationship, and when they get engaged, when they get married and when they start a family, it will be exactly when it is meant to happen.”
During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” in March, Kelce, 35, revealed he would be returning for his 13th NFL season after the Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles in February’s Super Bowl.
Kelce said he would take some time to decide on his playing future and potential retirement following the 40-22 defeat, in which he was a non-factor with four catches for 39 yards.
“They are enjoying every part of their relationship, and their parents are all in,” according to the Daily Mail’s source. “Friends are all about it, too. It is just a perfect life for them all right now, they can’t believe their good fortune, but they also aren’t taking it for granted.”
Swift, also 35, especially loves that Kelce is family-oriented.
“Taylor is impressed with Travis in so many ways, but how he interacts and treats his parents and her parents, whether they are all together or not, is beyond compare,”the source said. “There is a lot that Taylor has been able to see of the person Travis is by the way he treats family, and she just loves it.
“When they start a family of their own, she knows that it will be perfect because she has seen it firsthand that he puts in the work to be such a family man… anytime they can all hang out together, the better.”
Swift reportedly has been staying in Miami to “support and spend time” with Kelce as he trains for the upcoming NFL season — his 13th campaign with the Chiefs since they selected him in the third round of the 2013 draft.
The Chiefs All-Pro tight end moved into a $20 million mansion in the exclusive Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club last month, according to the Daily Mail, which reported he’s been laying low and training at Johnny O’s Gym nearby.
The couple enjoyed a date night at Harry’s Bar and Restaurant in West Palm Beach on Friday.
Kelce and Swift began dating in the summer of 2023.
