Let the games begin.

The Giants released their first unofficial depth chart of the season ahead of Saturday’s preseason opener. It does not necessarily mean that starters will play against the Bills.

Here are six notable observations:

— Jameis Winston is the No. 2 quarterback, ahead of rookie Jaxson Dart even though Dart has taken more second-team reps during training camp.

— Deonte Banks and Cor’Dale Flott are listed as co-starters at cornerback. That is the only example of an either-or on the depth chart.

— Devin Singletary is the No. 2 running back, ahead of rookie Cam Skattebo, who is No. 3 despite battling a leg injury.

— Greg Van Roten is the starting right guard, ahead of Evan Neal. Neal is No. 2 ahead of Jake Kubas, who has squeezed into the first-team rotation at times.

— Marcus Mbow is the No. 2 right tackle and No. 3 left tackle (while starter Andrew Thomas is on the Physically Unable to Perform list).

— Kayvon Thibodeaux is a starting edge, with Abdul Carter as Brian Burns’ backup.

— Rakeem Nunez-Roches ahead of free-agent signing Roy Robertson-Harris and rookie Darius Alexander as the starting defensive tackle next to Dexter Lawrence.

Van Roten, a Rockville Center native, and his wife welcomed their second child last week. He missed two practices before returning Monday.

“It’s always tough having a baby in-season, especially in training camp, but it’s incredible to have another child and we’re lucky to be close to home,” Van Roten said.

“To add another kid to the mix, it’s a lot crazier, a lot harder so far, but we have a great support network. We’re relying on friends and family to help us through navigating this time during the season.”
