Come on in — Survivor is back! Yeah, it’s only been two months since the sole survivor of Season 45 was announced. So what? We’re in the new era, baby, and the twists and turns are twistier and turnier than ever! Also, uh, Survivor always drops a new season in the cold of winter. It’s really a service! There might be snow and slush on the ground outside, but we can turn on our TVs or open our laptops and be transported to the beaches of Fiji.
So, when will we be able to live our Survivor fantasies vicariously through 18 brand new players? And how can you watch Survivor if you don’t have cable or a TV with an antenna? What if your Wednesday nights are occupied and you have to watch later? Do you need Paramount+? Should I stop with the questions and just get to all the Survivor information? Yes! Here’s everything you need to know about Survivor 46 on CBS.
Survivor 46 debuts on Wednesday, February 28 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
Yes! The season will actually premiere with a two-hour episode. Following that, Survivor will stick with the 90-minute episode format that was introduced last season.
Survivor 46 will premiere on CBS on February 28 at 8 p.m. ET. Following that, the episode will be added to Paramount+ on Thursday, February 29 around 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. Of course the official word from Paramount+ is usually “next day” and not a specific time, but 3 a.m. ET is usually when new content gets added to streaming services, including Paramount+.

If past New Era seasons are any indication, then Survivor 46’s run should break down as follows.
You can watch Survivor 46 as it airs online via Paramount+ — but you have to have a Paramount+ subscription.
If you need to sign up for Paramount+, you can either go with an ad-supported option (Paramount+ Essential) and pay $5.99/month, or you can go ad-free (Paramount+ with SHOWTIME) and pay $11.99/month. Reminder: if you’re watching Survivor live as it airs on CBS via Paramount+, it’s gonna have ads no matter what. But if you plan on watching the next day (or the next weekend or the next month, etc.), you will or won’t have ads depending on the plan you go with.
You can cut the price down a bit by signing up for a whole year; Paramount+ Essential (the one with ads) costs $59.99 for a year, and Paramount+ with SHOWTIME (the one without ads) costs $99.99 for the year. Both come with a free weeklong trial, if you want to hold off on paying for a little while longer.

Survivor Season 46 premieres in the United States on CBS on Wednesday, February 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
