Trying to decide on which player props you should place within the 49ers offense for the Super Bowl is a bit overwhelming.
Let’s begin with taking Christian McCaffrey to score 2+ touchdowns.
The 2023 rushing champion has tallied a pair of scores in each of the previous two playoff games; he has also entered the end zone at least once in all six playoff games throughout his career.
He’s the No. 1 running back in many departments, but most notably in red-zone touches.
McCaffrey was fed at a rate of almost five times within the opponents’ 20-yard line; he averaged just about one goal-line carry per game.
There’s plenty to go around in Kyle Shanahan’s attack, but whenever the 49ers get within scoring range, their best shot of ensuring points go on the board will be put in the hands of McCaffrey.
Deebo Samuel is primed for his versatile usage with work out of the backfield as well, which is why I’m adding the Over on his rushing + receiving prop of 80.5 yards.

It’s grandiose, but Samuel has hit this number in five of his last nine games.
He posted 6.1 rushing yards on an average of 2.5 attempts per game.
The Chiefs were a top-six secondary in yards and receptions against, but Samuel has demonstrated consistent elusive playmaking abilities to any matchup — having recorded the single-best juke rate at the receiver position.
The final leg is San Francisco -2.5.
When the two aforementioned players are healthy, the 49ers have been 16-9 against the spread.
There are a few trends that make the decision to fade Patrick Mahomes a difficult one, but the 49ers outrank the Chiefs in both offensive and defensive DVOA.
When push comes to shove, they’re fielding the more comprehensive attack that should give Kansas City all that it can handle — no matter what tricks Mahomes will have up his sleeve.
THE PLAY: McCaffrey 2+ touchdowns plus Samuel Over 80.5 rushing + receiving yards plus 49ers -2.5 (+703, FanDuel).
