Sunny Hostin has her eyes on a new man — at least she did until she learned how old he was. During this morning’s episode of The View, the co-hosts reflected on pro tennis player Carlos Alcaraz‘s Wimbledon victory.

Whoopi Goldberg brought the discussion up during one of the Hot Topics segments — but was promptly interrupted by Ana Navarro, who was also thirsting over the rising athlete.

“Wait a minute. Did you see the 20-year-old, fine-as-hell Spaniard who won? Carlos Alcaraz?” she asked the group.

However, Hostin — who shares two children with her husband of more than two decades — was under the impression that Alcaraz was closer to his late 20s.

“Is he only 20? Because I started googling him immediately. And then felt guilty because I have a son the same age,” she said as she flirtatiously sipped from her mug, to which Goldberg reminded her, “And a husband who’s a little older than him.”

All teasing aside, Hostin praised the “extraordinary” match in which both players — Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic — were “so invested” and “so focused.” She added, “You saw two people at their best,” before Goldberg went on to predict what’s to come for the 20-year-old’s future.

“He’s such a baby that you know what’s coming for him,” she said. “He’s going to be a monster on the court.”

Aside from being recognizable on sports channels, Alcaraz was featured in Break Point, the Netflix docuseries that gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of some of the best tennis players in the world. The series shows Alcaraz competing in the 2022 U.S. Open, in which he ultimately defeated co-star Casper Ruud.

Following last weekend’s win at one of the most prestigious tournaments, Alcaraz opened up about his experience to Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on this morning’s episode of Today.

“It was a dream come true for me,” Alcaraz said, per NBC News. “It was tough to deal with the nerves facing Novak on that stage.”

And we don’t blame him! The 36-year-old Serbian pro hasn’t lost a Wimbledon match since 2017, after all.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
