Sunny Hostin just made a shocking confession on The View regarding why she once contemplated leaving her husband.

Hostin and her co-hosts were discussing whether friends should share their honest opinions about each other’s romantic relationships when Joy Behar asked Hostin how she would feel if a friend had told her to “forget” about her now-husband, Emmanuel Hostin.

“I think a good friend tells you the truth and you need to be able to receive it,” Hostin replied.

However, the View host explained that her close friend Regina actually did quite the opposite for her relationship.

“Actually, I was gonna cancel Manny because I thought he was too short and then Regina told me he could stand on his medical degree, he’d be tall enough,” Hostin confessed, sparking laughs from her co-hosts and the audience. “So, she gives good advice.”

She continued, “But there have been times when she has said, ‘I don’t like this person for you.’ And I think when someone loves you and your friend loves you and you can be that honest, I receive that. I do listen to my friends that I am close to.”

Hostin has been married to her husband Emmanuel, who is a sports doctor and surgeon, since 1998. The pair share a son together.

The ladies have been quite candid about their relationships on the show recently.

Behar also shared a hilarious moment she recently had with her husband earlier this week while discussing plastic surgery with her co-hosts.

“I said to my husband the other day, ‘My boobs are hanging so low now that they’re touching my knees,’” she recounted to her co-hosts.

“And he says to me, ‘No wonder you keep tripping,'” she quipped.
