The first (and only) Monday Night Football game of the preseason takes place on August 21 when the Washington Commanders host the Baltimore Ravens on ESPN. But what about Sunday Night Football?
The first regular season Sunday night game is a must-see battle between NFC East rivals as Daniel Jones and the New York Giants host Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on NBC and Peacock. The preseason slate, however, is a different story.

There are two Sunday night games this preseason, but they’re not officially under the Sunday Night Football banner.
On Sunday, August 20, the Los Angeles Chargers host the New Orleans Saints at 7:05 p.m. ET on NFL Network. The following week (August 27), the Houston Texans travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
The first regular season Sunday Night Football game (the New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys) takes place Sunday, September 10 at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock Premium.
Sunday Night Football will air on NBC, NBCSports.com, Peacock Premium, and NFL+.
