A student was stabbed at a New Jersey high school on Monday morning, prompting a lockdown and the arrest of another teenager, authorities said.
The 18-year-old victim was attacked at Hackensack High School in Bergen County. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
An unidentified student was taken into custody by a school security officer, cops said.

Juvenile delinquency charges were expected to be filed against the attacker, according to Hackensack Police Captain Michael Antisa.
The high school “initiated a shelter-in-place to ensure the safety of students and staff while the situation was thoroughly investigated,” district officials said in a statement.
“We commend the quick and decisive actions of our teachers who diligently secured the classroom environment and provided support to all students during this challenging time,” administrators wrote.
