In Sergio Hudson’s world, a bustier goes with everything.

“It’s feminine, strong and makes a woman feel like she’s empowered,” the designer told Alexa after his show. He served “bad b*tch realness, strong woman realness, executive woman realness” in his collection – glamorous and in-control clothes that can go from the office to a cocktail party. His bustiers went under suits, over bodysuits and topped dresses.

Powerful artists lined the front row, from “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” MVP Rachel Brosnahan and “Black Panther” star Danai Gurira to Janelle James of “Abbott Elementary.”

Resplendent in Hudson’s brilliant orange pantsuit with flared legs, Gurira described collaborating on “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,” which premieres Feb. 25 on AMC and AMC+. In addition to reprising her role as katana-wielding Michonne Grimes, she wrote and was the showrunner of an episode.

It was an uplifting and intense experience, and the NYU-trained actor learned “how to survive being an executive producer, an actor and a writer all at the same time.” She added, “I didn’t get a ton of sleep, but I prioritized it. Otherwise you’re not going to make it without some rest.”

Rachel Brosnahan has been cast as Lois Lane in the upcoming “Superman: Legacy” superhero movie, another gutsy role for her. “I feel like the thing that ties all the women I’ve had the privilege of playing together is that they’re resilient, smart and resourceful,” observed the Emmy winner, who wowed in a fitted pinstripe dress with a bustier bodice.

“I love a feisty woman,” she concluded. “Sergio Hudson brings out a little bit of feistiness in me.”
