Donald Trump and his supporters are common Hot Topics on The View, where they are often criticized by the co-hosts. But on this morning’s episode of the hit daytime talk show, guest Stormy Daniels jumped on the bandwagon by likening supporters of the former POTUS to “suicide bombers.”
Daniels, an adult film star, rose to fame in 2018 after it was reported that she had an affair with Trump more than a decade earlier and that he paid her “hush money” to stay quiet in 2016. She consequently faced a wave of backlash from his followers, who slammed her as a “gold digger” and claimed she was “profiting” off the story.
However, Daniels insisted on The View that she was never paid for coming forward — and that she didn’t receive a dime for her new Peacock documentary Stormy.
Joy Behar pointed out that the documentary — which was released earlier this month — only heightened the “threats” aimed at Daniels, who explained why the vitriol has been “different” from when she first became a household name.
“In the past, the first time around, there was more. The frequency and the amount was a lot more. But it was more superficial — like, just calling me names mostly associated with my job,” she said. “Initially it was about, ‘Oh, she’s just out for the money,’ or, ‘She’s a gold digger,’ or, ‘She’s a slut.’ And I’m like, ‘Award-winning slut, thank you.’”
While Daniels said there haven’t been “as many” threats this time around, she noted that the ones she has received have been “worse” — and claimed those sending them are “not hiding.”

“I’ve had people text me from their actual phone number,” she revealed. “And I’m just like, ‘Of course you’re a Trump supporter, because you’re not even good at being bad.’”
Daniels added, “They’re more like suicide bombers this time around where they honestly, truly believe that they are being patriotic and that I am the devil.”
She further opened up about her interaction with Trump in the documentary, where she recalled meeting up with him in his hotel room before heading to dinner. But things allegedly took a turn for the worse when she used the bathroom in his suite.
“It was so crazy when, having no red flags whatsoever in this conversation, I came out of a bathroom to find myself cornered,” she said. “I don’t remember how I got on the bed. The next thing I know, it was humping away and telling me how great I was. It was awful. But I didn’t say ‘no.'”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
