“A father buys a lie detector robot for the family. He decides to test it out at dinner. The father asks his son what he did that afternoon. The son says he did some homework, the robot slaps the son. The son says OK, OK, I went to my friend’s house and we watched some movies.

“The father asks the son what they watched. His son says Toy Story. The robot slaps the son. The son says OK, OK, we watched porn. Dad says at your age I didn’t even know what porn was, the robot slaps the father. Mom laughs and says, ‘Well, he certainly is your son,’ the robot slaps the mother.”

We had the presence of mind to NOT bet on the idiot’s delight, better known as the Home Run Derby.

We did however take the AL in the All-Star game … which ended with a home run derby.

Down 6-0, the AL came all the way back.

At 6-6, the silly started.

When it ended, the NL hit more taters and won.
