Family Feud is usually all laughs, thanks to Steve Harvey’s sharp comebacks and contestants who aren’t afraid to throw out some wild answers. But one recent response took things from silly to shockingly dark — leaving Harvey (and the audience) completely stunned.

When Harvey asked players what they’d like to be doing when they die, Raven from the Harvis family buzzed in first with, “Making love.” That landed at number three on the board. Molly from the Ham family followed with “Cooking,” but sadly, that wasn’t up there.

The Harvis family kept control, with Antoine scoring the top spot for saying he’d like to pass in his sleep. But things took a strange turn when another family member, Katrina, responded: “I would probably go quick, fast, and in a hurry, in a wreck.”

Harvey’s jaw dropped. “This is not a choice,” he reminded her, pointing out that nobody actually wants to go out in a fatal accident. Katrina, though, doubled down, insisting that a wreck would be the fastest and least painful way to go.

And if that wasn’t enough, Kerry, another Harvis family member, offered an even more unexpected response: “I wouldn’t die.” Harvey immediately walked away from the podium.

“This question, you are going to die,” he told him. “We want to know how you like to go. You are dying twice in here. They say die twice. They want to know how you wanna go, Kerry has decided, ‘Damn it. I don’t want to die.’ Well, Kerry, a lot of people don’t want to die. But we’re all leaving here one day.”

That sealed the Harvis family’s fate with their third strike. Molly from the Ham family swooped in for redemption, guessing “being happy” — the number two answer on the board — and securing the win.
