Sterling Shepard isn’t retiring just yet.
The now ex-Giants receiver is signing with the Buccaneers on a one-year contract, NFL Network reported Thursday.
He and Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield were college teammates at Oklahoma.
Shepard, 31, spent the past eight seasons with the Giants after they drafted him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
He hauled in 372 catches for 4,095 yards and 223 receiving touchdowns in his Giants tenure, the end of which was hampered by a torn Achilles.
Shepard issued a farewell message to Giants fans after the season.

“Forever grateful to the New York Giants organization, past and present teammates, and the incredible fan base for their unwavering love and support over the past 8 years,” Shepard wrote in an Instagram post.
“New Jersey, my second home, will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for embracing me with open arms and making me feel like family. Once a Giant, always a Giant!”
