ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has never been a Cowboys supporter, and it appears that he won $1,000 off his co-analyst Marcus Spears by betting against them.

“Welp, there goes 1k to an already rich man,” Marcus Spears posted on X after the Cowboys got waxed by the 49ers, 42-10.

Smith quote tweeted Spears’ post with a list of 26 smiling face emojis Sunday, and Spears, a former Cowboy, responded with seven throwing up emojis.

The Cowboys were 3.5-point underdogs to the 49ers on BetMGM Sportsbook throughout the week, and the line never really moved.

Smith must’ve been following The Post’s Friday print edition, where it was predicted the 49ers would cover the spread and beat up the Dallas defense with relative easily on “Sunday Night Football.”

John Ewing of BetMGM told The Post that 49ers-Cowboys was the second-most bet game of the Week 5 NFL slate, with 73 percent of the bets coming in on San Francisco and 71 percent of the handle.

The public cashed in big on the NFC favorites.

Brock Purdy made easy work of the Trevon Diggs-less Cowboys secondary, throwing for 252 yards and four touchdowns.

Three went to tight end George Kittle, who looked like his old dominant self in helping build a lead so big that both teams went to their benches in the fourth quarter.

The 49ers head into Week 6 on the road facing the Cleveland Browns (2-2), who are coming off a bye week and should have a healthy Deshaun Watson, who missed Week 4 with a shoulder injury.

We should learn a lot about Purdy with defensive end Myles Garrett breathing down his neck.

The 49ers as consensus 4.5-point road favorites, and are the current Super Bowl favorites with +375 odds at BetMGM. The Chiefs (+550) and Eagles (+700) rank second and third, respectively.
