Travis Kelce wasn’t the only one singing Taylor Swift’s praises Thursday on ESPN.
Stephen A. Smith was more animated than usual when he revealed on “First Take” that he spent $20,000 on tickets to see Swift’s blockbuster “Eras Tour.”
The ESPN personality made the revelation when asked by “First Take” host Molly Qerim what his thoughts were about the rumors that the Chiefs tight end is dating Swift.
“Well let’s first get the obvious out of the way,” Smith said. “He could do a lot worse. I mean, Taylor Swift has got it going on.
“I could play around and flirt and all that stuff. I’m just playing around, it’s all in fun. But let me tell you something — and I’m dead serious about this — that concert was off the chain.
Smith, who attended the concert with his two daughters and their friends, explained that although he is a big Beyoncé fan, he was blown away by Swift.
“But had to go see it for myself because my daughters they hoodwinked me, man. They made me promise I was going to treat them to the concert and they had 10 friends with them. It was $2,000 [per ticket].
“I spent $20,000 on Taylor Swift tickets… and I said I got to see this for myself. I said, ‘Damn! It was off the chain.'”
The Swift tickets likely didn’t burn a hole in Smith’s pocket.
The outspoken sports broadcaster rakes in $12 million per year, according to The Post’s Andrew Marchand.
As The Post previously reported, Smith’s personal salary is $8 million a year, but he also has a $4 million-per-year production contract.
Smith, who tends to keep his personal life private, has two teenage daughters from a previous relationship, and it is unclear who their mother is.
In a 2019 profile, Smith told GQ that his daughters were aged 11 and 10 at the time.
Although he isn’t open about his dating life, Smith had no problem weighing in on Kelce’s off-the-field business.
During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” which follows “First Take” weekdays, Kelce finally addressed the rumors linking him to Swift.
“I threw the ball in her court,” Kelce said, referring to his previous plan to give Swift a friendship bracelet at her concert in Kansas City, which he attended.
“I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.
“So, we’ll see what happens in the near future. Alright now.”
Swift has yet to address the buzz, but she has hung out twice with Kelce and the pop sensation has found the Chiefs tight end to be “very charming,” The Messenger reported Wednesday.
Fans will most likely be on high alert for a Swift sighting at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, when the Chiefs host the Bears.
