Stefon Diggs is aware people want to know about the pink substance he passed out to bikini-clad women in a video from a boat party.
But the new Patriots receiver is keeping details close to the vest.
“I want to be as candid with you as possible but I kind of have a thing where I don’t talk about my personal life with people I don’t know personally,” Diggs said Tuesday at Patriots minicamp, per ESPN.
“I had a conversation with [Mike] Vrabel obviously and I’ll echo everything he said, hoping everybody is making good decisions. And I had a conversation with people in the building as well. So everything else is everything else. The particulars are all internal.”
Asked specifically about what was in the bag that contained the pink substance, Diggs replied, “Obviously it’s a conversation that’s happening internal, which I can’t have too much of a conversation about it. I’ve been in this league 10 years; you can format your question many different ways, I’m obviously going to answer it the same way.”
The 31-year-old, who signed a three-year, $63.5 million contract with New England this offseason, went viral late last month after video circulated on social media of him giving the bag with the pink substance to three women on a boat that his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, was also said to be on.
As he handed over the substance, Diggs said, “don’t take all of it.”
First-year Patriots coach Mike Vrabel addressed the video during OTAs two weeks ago.
“Obviously we want to make great decisions on and off the field,” Vrabel said.
Though there was some speculation that Diggs’ spot on the team could be in jeopardy, the Patriots seemingly aren’t going to take any action as of now.
In the aftermath of the video, Cardi B and Diggs went Instagram official with their relationship.
Diggs, a four-time Pro Bowler, played eight games for the Texans last season after Houston acquired him from the Bills in an offseason trade, but missed the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
He has 10,491 yards receiving and 70 touchdowns across his 10-year career, the first half of which was spent with the Vikings.
