Grab your goat cheese balls and a Pumptini! Lisa Vanderpump just confirmed that her Hulu spinoff Vanderpump Villa will be getting a second season — and viewers are in for an exciting surprise as the restauranteur teased her former employee (and beloved Vanderpump Rules alum) Stassi Schroeder has joined the cast.

Vanderpump Villa is returning for Season 2… with a new addition!” Vanderpump captioned an Instagram video.

In the clip, Vanderpump is holding a glass of champagne as she says, “Well, hello there. I want to welcome you back to Vanderpump Villa Season 2. Now, I am sitting here and I’m thinking, ‘What should I put on the menu?’ Any ideas?”

The camera then pans to Schroeder, who answers, “Lisa! Obviously, goat cheese balls,” to which Vanderpump replies, “Excellent idea. Cheers. Welcome back, darling.”

Over the last week, Schroeder — who is an original cast member on Vanderpump Rules — has been posting photos of her European getaway with her husband Beau Clark and their two children Hartford, 3, and Messer, 11 months. Little did we know, she was actually gearing up to film Vanderpump Villa in her former boss’ French château.

“You know I’m walking around these halls pretending to be European royalty #vanderpumpvilla,” Schroeder captioned a photo of herself and Vanderpump from inside the latter’s Château Rosabelle.

Much like Vanderpump Rules, Vanderpump Villa — which premiered its first season in April — follows Vanderpump’s staff of big personalities as they attempt to provide the best service to their guests all while navigating their personal drama.

Schroeder, for her part, helped put Vanderpump Rules on the map. Whether it was her toxic relationship with Jax Taylor in Season 1 or her queen bee status, Schroeder brought a level of drama to the series that, until Scandoval, was difficult to replace.

However, the bestselling author, along with Kristen Doute, was fired from the show in 2020 for her racist actions against her former co-star Faith Stowers. Unlike Doute, Schroeder later turned down the chance to star in Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley, which premiered in January of this year.

Fortunately, she’ll fit right in over at Vanderpump Villa! After all, Season 1 stars Hannah Fouch and Marciano Brunette were awfully reminiscent of Schroeder and Taylor in their early years.

“I love that we’re getting compared to Stassi and Jax,” Fouch, a server at Château Rosabelle, told Decider ahead of the show’s premiere. “I think Stassi is an icon and I think she’s amazing.”

The first season of Vanderpump Villa is currently streaming on Hulu.
