Get in, y’all. We’re heading back down south to Charleston for a brand new season of Bravo’s Southern Charm. Its “supersized Season 9 premiere” is set for Sept. 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
The show has been charming viewers since 2014 and led to the TV spinoffs Southern Charm Savannah (2017) and Southern Charm New Orleans (2018-2019). Filming for the upcoming season wrapped up at the end of March.
According to Bravo, this season will surround “new relationships [being] forged alongside new resentments.”
However, “old habits die hard as these southern socialites grapple with shocking allegations that could fracture what were thought to be unbreakable bond.”
You can expect the usual cast of characters, including Taylor Ann Green, Shep Rose, Olivia Flowers, Venita Aspen, Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Leva Bonaparte, and Madison LeCroy.
However, it also turns out that there are some new faces heading South this upcoming season, one of them being computer programmer Rod Razavi. He’s reportedly got his eyes on Olivia, who previously dated her fellow co-star, Austen.

Next up there’s Jarrett “JT” Thomas, whose real estate business is blowing up. However, that won’t stop him from partying and being”blown away” by Taylor, per the Season 9 trailer. This may stir the pot, as Taylor ex Shep Rose is returning to the show from his sabbatical spent in Australia. JT is described as a “successful southern eccentric with a loud personality.”

Last but certainly not least is interior designer Rodrigo Reyes. He’s been a friend of the Charmers for years, and has been dating his boyfriend Tyler for eight years. He hopes to keep the cast “grounded” through his new presence on the show.

As for our other established Charmers, notable news surrounding the upcoming season involves Craig’s house and dating life being a “work-in-progress,” as he tries to settle down with Paige in the South. Meanwhile, Leva will continue to be the “voice of reason,” Madison is adjusting to married life with her husband Brett, and Taylor navigates hook-up rumors and single life.
Season 9 of Southern Charm premieres on Sept. 14 on Bravo. Next day-streaming and the eight previous seasons of the show are available on Peacock. Watch the trailer for the new season above.
