Splotchy red markings on former President Trump’s hand –which launched a frenzy of speculation this week — were caused by blood from a paper cut, according to a report.
Internet sleuths originally ventured many theories explaining the red marks, ranging from a rash caused by his golf club grip, to herpes.
But anonymous sources provided TMZ the much more mundane explanation.

The red markings first came to light after Trump was photographed Wednesday leaving a New York City courtroom where he facing allegations of defamation by magazine writer E. Jean Carroll.
Reps for the former president did not respond to request for comment from The Post.
Later images of Trump that day showed the marks had vanished. His hands were also mark-free Thursday morning when he was photographed leaving the funeral of his mother-in-law Amalija Knavs.
