Hard to see the Cubs spending $300 million-plus on Kyle Tucker. 

Great all-around player, but with Owen Caissie probably ready to go, and considering their history of avoiding the monster contract, the Dodgers, Giants and others seem more likely.

One NL exec wondered if the Mets could sign Tucker, and move Juan Soto to left field and Brandon Nimmo back to center. 

That sounds like a long shot. Beyond making the Mets even more left-handed, they need to spend most of their money on pitching.
