Sofia Richie’s beauty bag looks a little different these days.
Five years after first filming her routine for Vogue’s “Beauty Secrets” series, the star returned for a fresh segment on Friday, saying “a lot has changed” since she welcomed her daughter, Eloise, last year.
“The second I got pregnant, I had the craziest hormonal acne,” she recalled. “I have a very simple and clean skincare routine, and I’ve noticed that it is the only thing that keeps it somewhat tamed.”
And while the star might be known for her quiet luxury aesthetic these days, not everything in her upgraded regimen comes with luxury prices. Below, explore (and shop) 10 relatively budget-friendly highlights — from $9 bar soap to the only mascara she’ll wear.
Richie uses this no-frills fragrance-free soap bar to cleanse her face, saying, “It’s the only thing that literally doesn’t break me out.”

She dubbed this lightweight mist — designed to help balance skin’s pH — “hand sanitizer for your face” as it “just kills bacteria.”

The content creator also showed fans a nearly-empty tube of this French drugstore staple, saying she goes through “a lot” of the stuff.
“This is like my holy grail,” she said. “I always apply it under my makeup because I feel like my makeup is so pretty on top of this.”
She’s not the only star stocking up, as Hailey Bieber once said on Instagram Stories that she “couldn’t live without” it.

Also among her affordable go-tos? A “monstrous” tub of Aquaphor, as she said she “can’t live without” the “tried and true” multi-purpose balm. (She’s in good company, as everyone from Bravo stars to celebrity makeup artists swear by it, too.)

When it comes to sun protection, Richie said she’s “obsessed” with this lightly tinted formula.

Since becoming a mom, the star’s been embracing a more minimal makeup routine — including this concealer that she said is “silky and gives me good coverage, but it’s not like replacing my skin.”
“I think having a daughter made me realize the importance of being confident without makeup,” she added.

She swiped some of this powdery pigment on her cheekbones, dubbing it the “perfect summer blush.”

Even Richie can’t resist a TikTok find. She discovered this peel-off lip stain after watching Bilie Eilish’s beauty routine video, and is now “obsessed” with the “genius” find.

While the model first thought this viral freckle pen was just going to be “a summer thing,” she’s since incorporated it in her year-round rotation.
“[It’s] been a game changer,” she said.

Eyeing Richie’s lush lashes? “This is the only mascara that works for me,” she raved of this under-$9 find, which she says, “stays on all day … doesn’t run” and is “never clumpy.”
