A smug Susan Sarandon was seen out and about in New York City Wednesday for the first time since being dumped by her Hollywood talent agency this week over her recent anti-Jewish rants.
Sarandon, 77, was spotted walking down Christopher Street in the West Village while wearing a letterman-style “Simpsons” jacket, black newsboy cap, gray pants, gray and red sneakers and maroon gloves.
The “Thelma and Louise” star’s red-and-white coat featured her name embroidered in red with patches of Marge and Homer and other characters from the show randomly placed throughout.
The comfy get-up was nearly identical to the one the Oscar winner wore when she made her controversial appearance at a pro-Palestine rally in the city’s Union Square on Friday.
Sarandon was let go from top Hollywood agency UTA after saying frightened Jews are “getting a taste of how it feels to be Muslim in America,” Page Six revealed Tuesday.
Sources told Page Six that staffers at the talent agency were extremely hurt by her comments.
Sarandon, who won an Academy Award for “Dead Man Walking,” has spent weeks ranting against Israel after Hamas’ surprise attack on the Jewish state on Oct. 7.
On Friday, she attended the “Shut It Down for Palestine” protest in Union Square, where she said many were “afraid of being Jewish at this time” and were it was the same feeling Muslims in the country felt.
“It’s important to listen, it’s important to have facts…you don’t have to go through the entire history of that region, you just have to show the babies that are dying in incubators,” she said.
“Those images are enough to show you that something is drastically wrong. We need a ceasefire now.”
She also joined in chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” — which has been regarded as antisemitic.
Sarandon had also reposted a tweet from a far-right account that claimed an Israeli helicopter had murdered Israeli citizens. She also retweeted a post celebrating Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, who was accused of being antisemitic for years.
