“What are you doing in my swamp?” is a question some lucky visitors to the Scottish Highlands — and fans of the still-famous 2001 film “Shrek” — will get to ask this fall.

Starting Friday, Oct. 13th, onion lovers can request to book a free two-night stay for up to three guests in a thrilling-looking recreation of Shrek’s mossy swamp abode from Oct. 27 to 29. His friend Donkey, its Airbnb “host,” is house-sitting for Halloween, according to the listing description.

Harkening to the animated hit starring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz, the swampy home is situated under a tree. There’s no kitchen — nor bathroom — inside, but meals and snacks will be included, to be served by the light of an “earwax” candle, an Airbnb spokesperson said.

The listing’s images show an array of fun features on top for those who get to stay there. The accommodation itself is set up in that tree stump, which is covered with grasses and moss.

Visitors, and fans of the franchise, can have something fun to look forward to in Scotland.

Inside, furnishings that look as they appeared on screen adorn the space — such as beds with a thick wooden frame under branches running across the ceiling — and a dining table next to a fireplace fashioned in the style of a tree. Adding to the charm: a dirt floor.

True to the ogre’s lifestyle, a toilet, sink and shower are located in an outhouse. In the morning, and in the style of Donkey, there are waffles for breakfast.

“Oh, and never mind the ‘BEWARE’ signs. They’re probably for decoration,” the description says.

To celebrate the offering, Airbnb pledged to make a donation to HopScotch Children’s Charity, an organization that provides enriching vacations to Scottish youngsters in need. An Airbnb spokesperson declined to specify the amount.
