Skip Schumaker has had it with the rain in Queens.

The Marlins manager became visibly upset with the Citi Field grounds crew after Thursday’s game with the Mets was suspended at 1 a.m. on Friday following a three-hour rain delay.

Miami, chasing a wild card spot, was leading 2-1 with four outs remaining when the the delay began at 9:41 p.m.

The tarp on the field was briefly removed at 12:20 a.m., at which point Schumaker became involved in a lively conversation with umpire crew chief Alfonso Márquez, a member of the Mets’ grounds crew and New York senior vice president of ballpark operations Sue Lucchi.

Shortly after, the Mets left their dugout and the field was once again covered with the tarp.

Schumaker’s squad is set to take on the Pirates in Pittsburgh Friday, leaving open the possibility of having to return to Citi Field on Monday to finish the game after the regular season has ended.

“Without getting into the details, obviously, this is an unfortunate incident,” Miami GM Kim Ng said after Thursday’s game was suspended, according to ESPN.

It’s the latest frustration in a rain-soaked week for the Marlins, who also saw Tuesday’s game against the Mets postponed due to poor field conditions.

Mets manager, Buck Showalter, recognized the frustration amongst both teams amid a tense playoff bid.

“We’re trying to win a game,” said Showalter. “And we have sympathy for what they’re trying to accomplish, too.”

Showalter admitted to reporters that the unconfirmed delays caused confusion in him and his team as well.

“We had two or three potential start times,” Showalter said. “We were ready to go and then it kept closing. It would open and we would go quick and pull the tarp, but underneath is wet, too.”
