NextImg:Simone Biles speaks out on pregnancy rumors after flood of Instagram comments

As excited as her fans may be about the possibility, Simone Biles is not carrying around a little bundle of joy.

Biles married Packers defensive back Jonathan Owens earlier this year and has been going to a number of his games of late.

On Monday, Biles posted a photo on Instagram from the Packers’ game against the Giants, and a number of commenters speculated positively about the idea that she might be expecting a baby.

On her Instagram stories Wednesday, Biles shot that down.

“I hate that I even have to address this, but please stop commenting on this photo or my Instagram in general about me being ‘pregnant,'” Biles wrote in the post. “I’m not pregnant.”

In a Q&A last year, Biles opened up about the different family hopes that she and Owens held.

“So, I want two kids,” she said, according to TMZ. “He always says he wants a football team.”

After the couple married earlier this year, Biles was on cloud nine.

“I’ve never been so nervous before in my life. [But,] I felt confident walking down the aisle. Seeing Jonathan at the altar was a dream. Our guests were cheering for everyone. I was shocked by the love in the air. The ceremony was so beautiful and dreamy!” Biles recalled to Vogue.

Biles returned to gymnastics competition earlier this year after suffering from a terrifying bout of the “twisties” — a condition in which gymnasts experience an inexplicable loss of control while they are in the air — during the 2020 Olympics, which were held in Tokyo in 2021.

Last week, she opened up about how gratifying it has been to compete again.

“It honestly feels amazing to return to competition, I never thought I would compete again so this is a blessing,” Biles told PEOPLE. “My favorite moment has been competing alongside my WCC teammates.”
