Simone Biles was ecstatic after the Bears rallied from an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit for a 25-24 victory the Commanders on Monday night.
The 11-time Olympic medalist, who’s married to Chicago safety Jonathan Owens, filmed her reaction in the final moments as Bears kicker Jake Moody hit the game-winning 38-yard field goal as time expired to secure the upset win, and shared the clip to her Instagram Story.
Biles and Chicago linebacker Tremaine Edmunds’ fiancée jumped up and down and hugged others in a private suite at Northwest Stadium, as seen in the video.
Biles reshared a video of Moody’s kick and the final score, including a bear emoji and a finger pointing downward, to symbolize, “Bear down,” which is team’s theme song.
The Bears took control with the three minutes to go in the fourth quarter after a costly fumble on third-and-1 by second-year Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels with the Commanders leading, 24-22.
The Bears’ offense ran the ball 36 yards on nine plays, with running back D’Andre Swift carrying five times for 34 yards to set up the winning kick.
Swift had a stellar night, finishing with 14 carries for 108 yards and two catches for 67 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter that cut Washington’s lead to 24-22.
Moody, who was cut by the 49ers after Week 1, was the hero of the game.
He hit four of five field goals in his first game on Chicago’s active roster after being elevated from the practice squad earlier in the day to replace the injured Cairo Santos.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson presented game balls to Moody and Swift.
