Now’s your chance to give Ken Jennings a run for his money. A new, voice-activated game based on the hit show Jeopardy is now available on all Roku devices, Variety reports.
This single-player game available on the Volley app allows players to respond to clues vocally with their answers, just like the game show. While it isn’t a multi-player game in its current form, contestants can still see how they measure up against other real players on the leadership boards.
Players will be able to access the game for free for one week through the Volley app, after which they can buy a monthly subscription to the app of $9.99 per month. Jeopardy is also available to play through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
Jeopardy is reportedly the first of “several” games that will be available on the app, though the other titles have not been shared just yet.
“Jeopardy! has been an iconic quiz show for nearly six decades,” said Suzanne Prete, EVP of game shows for Sony Pictures Television, per Variety. “Everyone already knows how to shout their responses at their TV screens. Volley’s voice AI technology enhances the gaming experience for fans of this beloved franchise, enabling them to engage in new, exciting ways.”

When Volley announced it acquired the exclusive licensing rights to Jeopardy in 2022, the company also revealed that it acquired the rights of Sony Pictures Television’s entire library of voice games, including Wheel of Fortune, Pyramid and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
“Expanding to the Roku platform presents a massive opportunity to introduce more consumers to voice-enabled games that can be played alone or with family and friends,” said Volley Co-founder and CEO Max Child, per Variety. “The launch of our Jeopardy! game on Roku is the first of many games we plan to release on this platform in the near future.”
Jeopardy is now available to be played on the Volley app on Roku devices, Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
Or if you’re looking for the real thing, Jeopardy airs on weeknights at 7/6c on ABC.
