This holiday season, purchasing toys has grown into an full-blown operation. From Barbie toys to this year’s hottest options for kids, we’re shuffling items to our cart en masse.
If your kids like to color, we have the 411 for you.
Enter the Easy Playhouse Pop-Up Gingerbread House. It’s the $35 Amazon find that everyone is talking about (aka, parents and caregivers, listen up).
My sister purchased one, assembled it in her foyer and said it was a surefire hit. In fact, she said, “it keeps them entertained for hours.
The takeaway? It’s a genius find — especially for semi-uninterrupted time you can now allot to Christmas cookie baking and holiday gift-wrapping.
It wasn’t long before my nieces went to town with what they consider to be a Crayola-inspired mansion. With the color-in-the-line festive facade — including candy canes, gingerbread men and assorted candy, it also doubles as a playhouse once it’s decorated to your little one’s liking.
To make the $35 find even more iconic, your little ones can insert mail into the two mail slots from the outside or push the mail out from inside the house, too.
This particular house is sold at Target and from the Mondo Llama brand — but it may be sold out at select locations (unsurprisingly, it’s selling quickly). The $35 Amazon version is readily available and virtually the same idea — which is what I recommend as a close second.
