The Chairman of “The Tortured Poets Department” is about to call another session to order on April 19, when Taylor Swift’s 11th studio album hits shelves.

Swift announced her forthcoming album at the 2024 Grammys while accepting the award for best pop vocal album (for “Midnights“) and followed it up with an Instagram post hinting at the new era’s aesthetic.

“All’s fair in love and poetry,” the announcement read. “Sincerely, the Chairman of The Tortured Poets Department.”

While April 19 seemed lightyears away on February 4, the album’s release date is now just a few days away, and sold-out editions of the album are once again available to pre-order — this time, from Target rather than Swift’s own website.

Just like Swift’s past releases, the singer teamed up with Target to create special editions exclusive to the retailer; for “Tortured Poets,” the collection includes one vinyl variant and four CD variants, and if you preorder now, it’ll be in your hands on or around the release date.

Two days ago, Swift teased the Target special edition on Instagram. This edition includes bonus track “The Manuscript” and is pressed on phantom clear vinyl.
