Shilo Sanders doesn’t have a team, but he does have a check to write.

Sanders was fined $4,669 for punching a Bills player, which led to an ejection from the Buccaneers’ preseason finale last week, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The safety, who played last season for his father, Deion, at Colorado, has since been released by Tampa Bay, with no team signing him as yet.

“I feel like this is part of my story to grow and do bigger and better things,” Sanders said in an Instagram video upon being released. “Whether it’s finding another team, whether it’s getting another opportunity in the NFL, it is what it is. My time being with the Buccaneers has been nothing but great. The city, my teammates, my coaches, everybody has poured in love and support toward me and I’ll be forever grateful for that.”

It appears that music, modeling or acting could be possibilities for Sanders if he remains a free agent, which Deion Sanders acknowledged this week.

“He is mentally where he needs to be, physically where he needs to be. We’re praying he gets another opportunity to go with a team,” the Colorado coach told reporters this week. “But if he doesn’t, the plans have already been put forward to what he’s going to do next.

“Shilo is a man of many talents and he’s gonna be straight. All of the Sanders are going to be straight with or without football. You better believe that. I take care of mine and I always have.

“And y’all know what I mean.”
