It’s been nearly three years since fans of Dan Erickson’s Apple TV+ series watched Irving (John Turturro) bang on Burt’s (Christopher Walken) door, Helly (Britt Lower) tell a roomful of gala guests that innies are miserable prisoners, Mark (Adam Scott) learn his outie’s late wife is still alive, and Dylan (Zach Cherry) flip the Overtime Contingency (OTC) switch in Severance’s epic Season 1 finale, but Season 2 is finally here, and spoiler alert: It slaps harder than Page 197 of The You You Are. New episodes of Severance will premiere weekly on Fridays, however, Apple TV+ often releases new episodes at 9:00 p.m. ET the night before designated premiere dates, so if you’re extra eager to watch, keep your eyes peeled for new Severance episodes on Thursday nights.

While Season 1 of Severance consisted of nine episodes, fans of the Apple TV+ series will be thrilled to learn that Season 2 is working overtime with 10 episodes.
After the first episode of Severance hits Apple TV+ on Friday, January 17, new episodes will be released weekly on Fridays until the finale on March 21. Since Severance is an Apple TV+ original series, you’ll need to be an Apple TV+ subscriber to catch up on Season 1 and watch new Season 2 episodes. That said, Apple TV+ recently announced that the streaming service will be free to all from January 3 to January 5, which is more than enough time to catch up on Severance Season 1’s nine episodes ahead of Season 2. For those interested, Apple TV+ also offers a 7-day free trial before charging $9.99 per month for access to its original streaming series and movies.
In addition to many returning Severance favorites, Season 2 will feature several fresh faces from popular TV series and films including Game of Thrones, Arrested Development, The French Dispatch, The Lord of The Rings, and more.
